This is a fine art print on Hahnemühle Bamboo for the closest resemblance to watercolor paper texture.
This piece is something that I have dreamed about for many years while staring at the sky. I have been flying in planes sense I was five years old and a lot of the times, pretty much all the time, I am by myself. I almost always want a window seat and the thing I like best is the sky, the time when you find yourself emerging from a thousand layers of clouds to find a world of white. For almost anyone that has flown you know that feeling, the first time you see a sea of white clouds. Its thrilling, amazing, and vast; for those of you have yet to see it. I can spend hours watching the ocean of white because in my mind, its not empty. Its easy as breathing to create whales swimming through the sky. Sometimes I mix it up with dragons or giant rocs, but nothing is as calming as a blue whale. The way they move is so slow and graceful. Full of purpose and intention, and that sound they make.. Its like they call out the emotions deep inside your chest with a great eerie bellow. I can't get enough of them. So to share this with you is my pleasure, please enjoy.
