This piece is one that I painted in Oregon with my acrylic inks. I wasn’t really thinking of tigers when I painted this but rather of how beautiful it was outside. I was lost in thought as I sketched and when I finished I had this tiger. Its large eye filled with color and its shapely nose came into detail as I worked. I added the bubbles because of my mood that day and filled it in with flowers that reminded me of the cherry plum blossoms outside. When I finished painting I treasured what I created. It became a marker for one of the best moments in Oregon, and one of my treasured memories. I wanted to tell you guys this because art isn’t always something that sweeps you away and it isn’t something that needs to be planned out to the last freckle. You can enjoy art and breath it in and out as easy as, well- breathing. Art is everywhere so just let the imagination run wild and the pen flow across the page. For those with a wild heart, enjoy!
